Artist’s Statement
My aim is to create a series of united snapshots of a whimsical, dynamic and multi-layered narrative about a community gathering place in central Vermont that spans a physical as well as conceptual space. Moving from the rural outskirts to a village center and then back out to the rural surrounds, the view is of a detailed and colorful tapestry that speaks to seasonal changes, a dynamic and richly layered community and the vibrancy of active lives therein.
